ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE !
A Vintage 1967 ORIGINAL Photograph issued by United Press International depicting the Boys from Liverpool holding up placards during the "Our World" Campaign. This was the first live, international, satellite television production, which was broadcast June 25, 1967. Joining The Beatles were many creative artists including opera singer Maria Callas and painter Pablo Picasso, representing nineteen different nations invited to perform or appear in separate segments featuring their respective countries. The two-and-half-hour event had the largest television audience ever up to that date: an estimated 400 million people around the globe watched the broadcast. Today, it is most famous for the segment from the United Kingdom starring The Beatles. They sang their specially composed song "All You Need Is Love" to close the broadcast.
The 7" x 8.75" photograph has been authenticated by PSA/DNA as a TYPE I, period 1st generation exemplar and has been encapsulated in PSA’s photograph holder. Original press stamp and caption snippet with date are on the reverse of this vintage gelatin-silver of the legendary band promoting their message of peace and love.
