An original vintage 1960s colour snapshot photograph of John Lennon and Paul McCartney that was taken in Central Park on 12th May 1968 by an American fan named Jude. Apart from a handful of fans the duo, along with Neil Aspinall, Derek Taylor, Mal Evans and Magic Alex had gone largely unnoticed during the trip and they found themselves free to roam around the park. John and Paul had flown into New York on 11th May 1968 to launch Apple in the USA, on the 12th as well as the visit to Central Park they held an Apple business meeting aboard a Chinese junk cruising around the Statue Of Liberty. On the 13th they conducted interviews about Apple with the New York Times and other newspapers from a suite in the St. Regis hotel. On the 14th they held a press conference at the Americana Hotel, Central Park West, at the hotel Paul also met up with his future wife Linda Eastman. Later in the evening they appeared on NBC’s Tonight Show where they were interviewed by Joe Garagiola, one of the topics discussed was John and Paul’s trip to Central Park. The photograph is printed on vintage KODAK photographic paper. It measures 3.5 x 3.5
