This photo was one of the first professional photographs ever taken of the Beatles.

Beatles manager Brian Epstein wanted photographs taken ASAP and hired a local Liverpool studio to shoot them. This image was used as the cover shot in Peter Kaye's 1987 paperback book entitled: "Beatles in Liverpool"
