"One of those images that is instantly recognizable by just about everyone appears in this RARE Vintage 1957 ORIGINAL Photograph from Globe Photos featuring Marilyn Monroe taking during her famous "dress scene" in the film "The Seven Year Itch". Originally shot on Lexington Avenue and 52nd Street in New York City, Monroe is shown with her dress being lifted by the air of the subway while the cameras snapped away to the displeasure of her husband, Joe DiMaggio who was on hand. The sight of his wife displaying her underwear as thousands of men cheered was too much for Joe as he left. The two argued badly that night at the hotel and the next day, the Yankee Clipper headed back to California. "
