SUPERB 1964 Original Photo THE BEATLES Walking the Streets of London by DEZO Hoffman


A Vintage 1960's ORIGINAL Photograph depicting the Boys from Liverpool strolling through the streets of London. From left to right they are John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. They became the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed act in the history of popular music. Rooted in skiffle and 1950s rock and roll, they later utilised several genres, ranging from pop ballads to psychedelic rock, often incorporating classical and other elements in innovative ways. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as "Beatlemania", but as their songwriting grew in sophistication, they came to be perceived by many fans and cultural observers as an embodiment of the ideals shared by the era's sociocultural revolutions.

The 7.25" x 9" photograph has been authenticated by PSA/DNA as a TYPE I, period 1st generation exemplar and has been encapsulated in PSA’s photograph holder. The photo that was used in newsprint publication during the decade and has a newspaper clipping and stamp date on the reverse. A superb portrayal of the legendary band that transcended musical and cultural boundaries.
